The holiday residence is located in Eretria, Evia, along the lush coastline of the Euboean Gulf. The design focused exclusively on the interior, aiming to create a functional and contemporary living space for a family of four.
The layout is organized around the openings of the house, ensuring natural light and ventilation throughout. A narrow entrance corridor leads to the bright communal area, where the kitchen and living room are seamlessly connected. Clean geometry and a minimalist approach define the spatial identity, while maintaining the integrity of the existing shell.
Materials such as marble, chestnut, and oak bring a sense of natural refinement and warmth. Exposed wooden beams on the ceilings of the kitchen and living room emphasize the connection with the landscape, while woven rattan details on the bedroom wardrobes introduce a subtle handcrafted character. The design balances modern clarity with timeless materiality, creating a calm, earthy retreat for relaxation.
